Gauge to Thickness |
Abrasive Wheel | A rotating accessory designed to grind, cut, or remove stock from various materials such as metal or concrete. (reference) |
Type 27 Wheel | A saucer/center depressed shaped wheel intended for grinding on the face of the wheel is used with angle grinders fitted with the appropriate guard. |
Type 41 Wheel | Formerly Type 1A cutting wheel. A disc shaped wheel intended for cutting by the periphery of the wheel used with abrasive cut off machines or angle grinders fitted with the appropriate guard. |
A24 | Abrasive material with a grit of 24, meaning there are 24 grains per inch of the grinding wheel's surface. |
PBF | PBF stands for Precision Bonding Format. PBF grinding wheels are commonly used in applications where tight tolerances and fine surface finishes are required, such as in the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries. They are also used in applications where grinding of hard materials is necessary, such as in the production of cutting tools and precision components. |
Fiberglass |
Bulk Molding Compound (BMC) | BMC stands for Bulk Molding Compound, which is a composite material made from a mixture of resin, glass fibers, and other additives. BMC Gully Covers are strong and durable, resistant to corrosion, and often used for heavy-duty applications. |
Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) | SMC stands for Sheet Molding Compound, another composite material composed of resin, glass fibers, and fillers. SMC Gully Covers are known for their excellent strength-to-weight ratio, resistance to chemicals and weathering, and suitability for various industries. |
screws |
Drywall Screws | Drywall screws are self-tapping, so you don't need to pre-drill holes. They have a sharp point that helps them to penetrate wood and metal easily. They have coarse threads that provide a good grip on the material. They are available in a variety of lengths and sizes, including short screws for light applications and long screws for heavy-duty applications. And they are relatively inexpensive. |
TArpaulin |
Tarpaulin | Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), and polythene are all types of thermoplastic polymers that are made from petroleum. They are all widely used in a variety of applications, including construction, packaging, and consumer goods. Tarpaulin is typically made with Polyethylene (PE) because it needs to be strong, durable, and waterproof. Polyethylene (PE) is also resistant to UV degradation, which is important for a tarp that will be exposed to sunlight. |
