Stockpile signs agreement with YCF
On January 6th 2022 Construction Trade Technologies (Pvt) Ltd. signed a collaborative agreement with the Young Constructors’ Forum (YCF) to make Stockpile the method of choice for procuring construction materials by their member companies for a minimum period of two years.
The members of the YCF have provided valuable feedback throughout the design and development phases to make Stockpile user-friendly and customized to address the needs of the Sri Lankan construction industry.
Construction material procurement is a tedious process susceptible to many errors and is widely considered inefficient due to the ad-hoc nature of project-based procurement. The process of obtaining technical data for the purpose of project approvals take on average five communication attempts in Sri Lanka, mainly due to the lack of preparation on the part of suppliers and manufacturers. Stockpile aims to eliminate these inefficiencies by standardizing the requirements and collating the data for each product. Furthermore; procurement teams can request quotations, negotiate and submit purchase orders directly to the suppliers, thereby streamlining the entire procurement process.
The commitment by the YCF to use Stockpile provides the suppliers on Stockpile the assurance that they will receive the purchasing requirements of the member companies without requiring any additional effort on their part.
The Young Constructors Forum was founded on Feb 1st 2011 and consists of representatives of all leading construction firms in Sri Lanka.
The member companies of the YCF include:
