Established in 1999, the company has grown to be a leading innovator in the manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of copper and aluminum power cables for the energy, industrial, communication sectors, and International markets. As a provider of power cable solutions, we have built a reputation as a trailblazer with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kaduwela, Sri Lanka, equipped with the latest technology. Our competitive strengths shine in areas such as brand recognition, distribution and logistics, sales and service, and operating efficiency.

We have gained a substantial international presence by establishing manufacturing plants outside Sri Lanka, which has propelled Sierra Cables forward in capturing new markets. We initiated our expansion in 2015 by entering the African market through Sierra Cables East Africa Ltd. Later in 2016, we partnered through a joint venture with two Fijian companies to grow our global footprint within the international market by establishing Cables PTE Ltd in the Fiji Islands.
