STAVINOX 650 x 4MM Hard Facing Electrode

STAVINOX 650 Hard Facing Electrode, for sale in Sri Lanka by Cimco Metal Centre, is a highly alloyed, air-hardening electrode designed for extreme wear-resistant surfacing applications. It produces a defect-free, non-machinable weld metal with an exceptional hardness of 58–60 HRC, delivering superior resistance to severe abrasion and harsh service conditions. The electrode ensures reliable weld integrity without cracks, porosity, or slag inclusions. For best results, controlled welding with a limited arc is recommended, with the use of an 18/8Mn buffer layer for crack-sensitive materials. Preheating low-alloy, high-carbon tool steels to 200–400°C and allowing slow air cooling after surfacing helps achieve optimal performance and durability.
