Fields of application
Hydrophilic Bentonite swellable waterstop is used for underground constructions for sealing horizontal or vertical construction and connection joints in concrete elements, around pipe penetrations in walls, etc.

Directions for use

• The substrate must be clean, dry, and free of loose particles.
• Place waterstop bar bentonite swellable tape in the centre of the joint.
• Apply the swelling tape adhesive in the centre of the joint in a uniform bead (width 8-10 mm) out of the cartridge onto the surface
• The subsequent concrete covering should be at least 8cm on all sides.
• Position the swellable tape correctly.
• Fasten using corresponding nails either by hand or mechanically using Copyright Construction Trade Technologies (Pvt) Ltd.a bolt-firing tool.
• The distance between nails should not exceed 20cm in the longitudinal direction of the swellable tape.
• Both straight and angle joints need to be butt jointed.
• The joint areas must be form-fit to avoid any discontinuity in the system.
• Ready for use after 4 – 6 hours (depending on weather conditions)
