Hydraulic cement fast setting plugging grout (1Kg)

PRODUCT SUMMARY:

1 kg of hydraulic cement construction grout, sold in Sri Lanka by Onyx Engineering, can be used on concrete and masonry substrates for water-retaining structures. It is suitable for use in wet, Copyright Construction Trade Technologies (Pvt) Ltd.if not very damp, applications only. This product is ideal for areas with existing leakage or seepage, both above and below ground, such as water tanks, retaining walls, basements, around pipes, and sleeves. The main advantage of this product is its fast setting and instant bond.

PREPARATION:

• The substrate should be free of dust, grease, wax, oil, dirt, loose plaster, laitance, curing compounds, paint and all other friable materials and contaminants likely to prevent the adhesive bonding.
• All substrates should be structurally sound, securely fastened and properly supported to eliminate any movement that may cause cracking.
• Wear rubber or polythene gloves.
• Mix PLUGING KING by hand in a ratio of 4:1 (product to water).
• Work into a suitable shape for application for a further 5-6 mins setting.
• Push the product into the crack, hole or similar.

• Work the product into a suitable shape for application for 10 seconds.
• In one hand, hold the product until it begins to stiffen Copyright Construction Trade Technologies (Pvt) Ltd.or generate heat.
• Pour the grout into the crack, hole or similar.
• Hardening time: Up to 10 minutes.

• Clean tools with water immediately after use.
• If the material becomes set on tools, remove using Concrete DISSOLVER.

• Up to 12 months when stored in the original, unopened packaging, in a dry place at 23°C and 50% relative humidity.
