STAVINOX 316L Filler wire

STAVINOX 316L Filler Wire, for sale in Sri Lanka by Cimco Metal Centre, is an extra low-carbon austenitic stainless steel TIG rod with a 19 Cr / 12 Ni / 3 Mo composition similar to ER 316L, designed for producing high-integrity, corrosion-resistant welds in demanding environments. The weld metal offers excellent mechanical properties with controlled ferrite levels of 4–8%, ensuring superior crack resistance, intergranular corrosion resistance, and long-term durability. STAVINOX 316L also provides outstanding creep strength at temperatures up to 850 °C, making it well suited for welding and surfacing applications on stainless steels of similar composition used in chemical processing, high-temperature service, and corrosion-prone industrial applications.
